Tens of thousands march in Santiago

9 Aug

Between 60,000 to more than 150,000 (depending on where you get your news from) students marched through central Santiago today.

In other news, a small blog, named after the Chilean word for a ‘street dog’ is born to cover the movement.

    G’day Joe,

Interesting reading, mate. I was not aware student protests were happening there. Chile and indeed, the rest of South America is largely ignored by Canadian media. You are our man at the scene. I’ll keep visiting Sitio Quiltro.

    Best wishes,

    Charles

Thanks Charles I appreciate it. If you ever have any questions about whats going on in Chile or if you want to know more about something you read on Sitio Quiltro let me know.
      Cheers, Joe.
